The firm ENKER operates in holding system of the company ENERGOINVEST
Sarajevo. It was founded in 1973 and a regular production has been
starting in 1974. ENERGOINVEST has before produced spark plugs for
petrol engines at the other locality on the base of an older
technology. That production was organized from 1957 to 1974 what means
that ENERGOINVEST has been producing spark plugs for over 40 years
and there is long years experience. During the  first
10 years ENKER was making spark plugs under license of the English
company Smith Industries Limited. Since this license was expired ENKER
has developed its own design following successfully development trend
at the other world spark plug producers. Installed factory capacity
is 16 millions of pieces per year. ENKER produces more than 100 spark
plug with different thread sizes: M 10, M12, M14, M18, with flat and
conical seats and thread lengths according to ISO standard for spark
plugs. They are adopted by their design to engines of automobiles,
motorcycles, trucks and buses, agricultural machines, tractors, marine
inboard and outboard, chain saws. Also ENKER produces special spark
plugs for aircrafts and armored military vehicles. We are producing
spark plugs under two trade names, ENKER, i.e. BOSNA SUPER. Besides
standard spark plugs, which are  recognizable
with central electrode of nickel-chrome alloy, Enker developed by
itself and has been producing successfully spark plugs of the higher
technological level, such as: - Spark plugs with cooper central electrode
- Spark plugs with radio interference suppression - Spark plugs with
several side electrodes (two, three and four) - Spark plugs with platinum
central electrode ENKER exports its products at all five continents
throughout the world.
