95% Al2O3 ceramic linings find an extensive application in chemical industry,
ore separation, steam power plants, cookeries, etc. owing to their excellent
mechanic, chemical and thermal properties. This ceramics is used for coating
the tubes, arc and cross elements in transportation lines for abrasive
and aggressive media, etc. Generally, these elements are one meter long
with diameter up to 300 mm; they made of steel having un guaranteed quality,
stainless steel, plastics, etc. The lining thickness may vary from 10
to 20 mm, depending on operating conditions and place where they are fitted.
Besides these elements, we also do coating of centrifugal separators,
which may even be fully ceramic, then worms, fan blades and cases, various
hoppers and similar elements exposed to high wear rates and temperatures
and applicable in paper mills, mines, brick plants, etc.
Having coated a mill with ceramic linings, its lifetime is extended to
over five years; using ceramic pebbles, steel contamination of the material
being ground (caused by steel pebbles) is eliminated. Thus, the weight
of the mill is decreased and its capacity is increased.
